Farmers Insurance agency is seeking highly motivated insurance sales producers to help grow the agency. Multiple full and part time insurance sales positions exist involving personal property & casualty lines, life insurance and/or business lines. Candidates must hold current/active Property & Casualty and/or Life & Health insurance licenses in the State of New Jersey.

General Accountabilities

Those holding Property & Casualty licenses will market, sell and cross-sell home, auto, umbrella, recreational, renters, landlord and other specialty lines;

Those holding Life & Health licenses will market, sell and cross-sell Farmers life insurance products;
-
Marketing and sales methods will involve making sales calls to leads, handling incoming calls to the agency, and various networking activities to generate new lead/referral sources;
-
Utilize Farmer’s lead management, processing and servicing systems, executing all activities to add and manage insurance sales leads and prospects, and properly bind, service and retain policies;

Achieve quotas for new business insurance sales and cross-sales

Insurance sales producer positions will initially be based in the agency's office, with potential to evolve into a work-at-home arrangement;

Maintain/demonstrate highest level of integrity and ethical standards in all work activities and interactions with leads, prospects and clients;

Maintain compliance with Farmers Insurance Agency policies and applicable regulatory requirements.
Job Qualifications
Insurance Sales Producer Qualifications:
-
One or more current/active insurance licenses in the State of New Jersey (Property & Casualty, Life & Health). Candidates holding all licenses are preferred. Note that Farmer’s require both Life & Health licenses to sell life insurance.

High School diploma or equivalent;

Prior insurance sales and/or insurance computer system experience a plus;

Sales/leadership experience of any kind is a plus.
