We are willing to loan to various commercial property types with a primary focus on the following asset types: single family renovation multi family, retail, office and urban land.

Responsibilities
The below list includes basic responsibilities of the role:
- Following up on prospective leads
- Working with existing loans and customers
- Generating leads to grow the loan portfolio
- Underwriting prospective leads
- Manage all inspections for new deals
- Assist in newsletter and e-marketing materials
- Ideal Candidate
- Real estate/construction experience
- Secondary finance preferred
- Ability to sell (This can be taught)
- Motivated to receive and generate your own leads
- Willing to attend training seminars and conferences for further business development
- Hard working
- Team player
- Well organized
- Willing to learn new ways of looking at loans and implementing creative solutions
- Takes initiative and is a self-starter
- Motivated by the loan business
- Takes responsibility for his/her production and actions
- Effective time management skills
- Willing to take on new challenges
- Mortgage underwriting experience a plus
- Multi-lingual a plus but not required
