New Jersey Reentry Corporation (NJRC) is a non-profit organization that specializes in serving and assisting incarcerated individuals with removing barriers towards sustainable and pro-social employment. NJRC is seeking an ideal candidate that can provide daily IT support and oversee the day-to-day operations of computer networks, desktops, printers, and scanners as an IT Support Specialist.

Duties and Responsibilities for an IT Support Specialist includes:

  • Perform on-site repair.
  • Evaluates technical issues and troubleshoots computer problems in an efficient and courteous manner.
  • Solve staff concerns and resolving each issue.
  • Maintain security access points, cameras, and security networks to ensure client and staff safety.
  • Supports and maintains IP phone systems, equipment, and cabling.

Requirements for an IT Support Specialist:

  • 1-3 years’ experience in all area of local and wide area networks management.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field.
  • Experience in troubleshooting hardware and software problems.
  • Familiar with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Knowledge of Windows of server 2008, 2012 Active Directory Environment.
  • Motor Vehicle Drivers and the ability to travel to NJRC sites.
