Retail Assistant Manager

We are a Verizon Wireless premium retailer with stores located in NJ and we are seeking an experienced Retail Assistant Manager. This hands-on position requires a strongly energized individual who has experience identifying and selling wireless products and managing a sales team to maximize store profitability. You will make use of your managerial skills and expert product knowledge in order to create the most positive and enjoyable overall experience for our customers and staff. There is a great commission structure for the right candidates.

Some of your specific duties as a Retail Assistant Manager include:

• Training and managing a productive sales team; including maintaining proper staff levels and overseeing their sales transactions.
• Handling all administrative aspexts of managing a retail store. 
• Responsible for all incoming/outgoing inventory while maintaining floor stock levels. 
• Meeeting and excedding all performance sales goals/metrics on a consistent basis. 
• Ensuring that the store is presentable to customers; including merchandising and cleanliness. 
• Handling all customer issues in a timely and professional manner. 
• Understainding and enforcing all company policies, procedures and objectives.

The successful candidate:

• must have previous real sales and managerial experience in the wireless industry. 
• must be able to work retail hours including weekends and holidays. 
• must be able to follow and enforce work schedules, be punctual and have reliable transportation.
